After the government issued Decision No. 263/QD-TTg on the National Target Program for New Countryside Construction, many localities, including Nhon Loc Commune, Binh Dinh Province, began accelerating the infrastructure upgrade, renovating roads, and lighting systems, ensuring regional security, meeting green, clean, beautiful, and safe criteria.

Meeting the expectations of the local government and residents, DAT Solar’s partner in Binh Dinh quickly installed a system of 33 LUMO 60W light poles along 1km of Tan Lap 1 Road, Nhon Loc Commune, to replicate the smart solar lighting model with Sokoyo lights, saving electricity, and improving light quality for dark or unlit road sections.

LUMO is a Split Type series with separate components for solar panels, battery storage, and LED lights. The solar panel can adjust its tilt angle, improving light absorption and accelerating the battery charging process.

+ The lights use Philips LUMILEDS LED chips, with LED chip efficiency up to 170lm/W. Lifespan exceeds 50.000 hours, equivalent to 12 years.

+ Lithium LiFePO4 battery storage capacity is 864Wh, more than 14 times the light’s power, extending the lighting time. Lifespan is up to 8 years.

+ Monocrystalline solar panel 18V/130W, with a panel capacity more than 2 times that of the light. Durable for over 25 years.

+ Intelligent controller adjusts brightness and reduces power consumption, monitors light activity. Helps the light automatically turn on in the dark and off in the light.

+ The light can continuously illuminate for 12 hours each night. The lighting time when there is no sunlight (fully charged battery) is 3 nights.

+ IP68 and IK08 protection levels, performs well in high-temperature environments, long periods of rain, dust, and has good impact resistance.

+ The light is officially warranted for 3 years.

The solar street lighting system successfully deployed by DAT Solar’s partner has allowed the government of Nhon Loc Commune and its residents to experience the practical benefits of the lights, adorning the rural roads with a new, modern look and enhancing the quality of the lighting system. At the same time, it promotes awareness and encourages residents to join hands in environmental protection, responding to the program “Building a new rural area, civilized urban area in solidarity with the entire population”.
