DAT and Sungrow officially enter into a strategic partnership

Sungrow collaborates with DAT to expand the market

Established in 1997, Sungrow Power Supply Company is a leading brand in the production of grid-tied solar inverters and is trusted by banks worldwide with over 100GW installed globally (as of December 2019):

– With 23 years of experience in solar energy, Sungrow’s products are installed in over 60 countries, maintaining a market share of over 15% worldwide.

– As a world leader in solar energy, Sungrow has a dynamic R&D team with over 1,600 employees. The company has also invested in its own internal laboratory approved by UL, CSA, TÜV Rheinland, and TÜV SÜD.

– In 2019, Sungrow inaugurated the world’s largest grid-tied solar inverter manufacturing plant. When fully operational, the annual production capacity globally will reach 50GW, including 3GW from the plant in India.

With a strategy to expand its presence in the solar energy market in the Asia-Pacific region, especially witnessing the surge in demand for rooftop solar installation in Vietnam due to the FIT2 electricity pricing policy, Sungrow actively sought authorized partners. The decision to collaborate with DAT came after recognizing the superior value ecosystem:

17+ years of experience

350+ employees with 41% being engineers

8000+ customers nationwide

10.000+ solar projects with a total capacity of 600MW installed nationwide

10MW solar panels always available

Mr. Vu Thang, Sungrow’s representative in Vietnam, presented the certificate “DAT is Sungrow’s authorized partner in Vietnam” to Mr. Van Dat Tieu, DAT’s representative.

Mr. Vu Thang, Sungrow’s representative in Vietnam, stated: “Entering the Vietnamese market since 2017, Sungrow has established a branch in Ho Chi Minh City with a professional workforce including sales, technical support, and after-sales service nationwide. The company is leading the market with a 35% market share in solar power plant installations and a 30% market share in rooftop solar. Collaborating with DAT, a leading entity in the solar energy sector in Vietnam, we believe that we will continue to achieve more success and contribute positively to building clean energy communities.”

DAT chooses Sungrow to meet the demand for commercial solar installations

In addition to the FIT2 electricity pricing policy, the government is encouraging businesses with high electricity consumption to participate in load adjustment programs during peak hours or invest in renewable energy solutions to supplement the shortfall and ensure national energy security. This has prompted businesses to show more interest in solar power installations recently.

To address the investment capital challenge for businesses, DAT is collaborating with financial investment fund partners to implement the ESCO model, rooftop leasing, and financial lending. Moreover, DAT is actively cooperating with various international partners, focusing all efforts to provide the highest efficiency for its customers.
