Following the success of the workshop in Ho Chi Minh City on March 3, 2023, DAT Group continues its workshop series at Muong Thanh Hanoi Hotel. Here, DAT Group, along with strategic partners Sungrow and Canadian Solar, shared insights into the SG125CX-P2 inverter, HiKu7 solar panel, and many optimal solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects with EPC contractor partners, construction companies, design consultants, and project investment funds in the Northern region.

Sungrow Vietnam representative introduces SG125CX-P2, a new-generation inverter for C&I projects

Regarding the grid-tied inverter SG125CX-P2, this is the latest product line from Sungrow for C&I projects, compatible with solar panels with capacities over 500Wp. SG125CX-P2 is not only an upgraded version in terms of power but also integrates many new technologies to increase the yield by about 2% compared to the previous generation, enhancing overall performance.

SG125CX-P2 is compatible with high-capacity solar panels, increasing project efficiency

The design of SG125CX-P2 features 12 MPPTs for efficiency up to 98.5%, with a maximum DC input current of 15A per string. Additionally, SG125CX-P2 integrates I + II surge protection for DC and type II for AC, an AFCI 2.0 circuit interrupter system detecting DC arcing faults with 99.9% accuracy. Furthermore, the inverter has smart I-V curve diagnosis and remote monitoring capabilities. With an IP66 protection rating and C5 corrosion resistance, it can be installed indoors or outdoors, even in harsh weather conditions. Sungrow also presented reports on the results of projects using SG125CX-P2 inverters, providing customers with a clear understanding of practical applications and advantages for C&I projects.

Canadian Solar Vietnam representative introduces the new technology of the HiKu7 solar panel

Regarding solar panels, the Canadian Solar representative in Vietnam shared information about the HiKu7 high-power product with a capacity of up to 675W, reducing LCOE electricity production costs by up to 8.9% and system costs by up to 5.7%. With the TOPCon technology improvement for the HiKu7 product line at the end of this year, the panel’s efficiency will increase by up to 22.5%, optimizing the return on investment for various large-scale projects.

With the combination of Canadian Solar panels and Sungrow inverters, EPC contractors, design consultants, construction partners, and project investment funds will have the perfect choice for large-scale industrial solar power systems, meeting the demand for self-consumption in the production and business activities of many enterprises and industrial zones in Vietnam.

During the workshop, Mr. Van Dat Tieu, the CEO of DAT Group, stated, “The workshop is an opportunity for DAT Group and EPC contractor partners to share experiences and jointly develop solar power for businesses, covering factory roofs with globally quality equipment from our strategic partners Sungrow and Canadian Solar. Currently, DAT Group is the Authorized Partner of Canadian Solar and Sungrow in Vietnam, committing to 100% genuine equipment, competitive prices, and a 24/7 technical support policy. Moreover, we offer smart, efficient, and cost-effective solar solutions to our partners and customers. In this workshop, DAT Group also introduced a sample configuration of a 1MWp project using SG125CX-P2 inverters, so that our partners can have a clearer and more visual understanding of the system and apply it in real projects.”

In addition, partners had the opportunity to discuss and ask questions directly related to real projects that had been implemented. They also visited the product exhibition area for Sungrow inverters and Sokoyo solar lights for renewable energy projects.

It is hoped that through the workshop, with the right development direction, strong cohesion, and cooperative spirit, DAT Group and EPC contractor partners will expand the solar model across provinces and cities, elevate the green brand for businesses, and accompany the Government in realizing the Net Zero target by 2050.
