Immediately after the project was completed in October 2022, not only the local authorities were satisfied, but the residents in the communes were also extremely excited and delighted with the new appearance of the roads. Many roads that had not been invested in proper lighting systems or lacked lights, causing difficulties for traffic, are now brightly lit by a series of modern solar streetlights.

• Specifically, 120 Matrix 10W streetlights from Sokoyo were installed along the following roads:
  In Quynh Phuong commune, there are 30 lights on the road passing the Co Den Relic Area.
• In Quynh Lap commune, there are 40 lights along the coastal road.
• In Quynh Loc commune, there are 50 lights on the inter-communal road.

Sokoyo’s Matrix 10W lights are highly appreciated for their energy-saving efficiency, utilizing 100% solar energy, and fully automatic operation. The lights do not require road digging or complex cable connections; they can be used immediately by plugging in the pole and installing the light.

Matrix is an All-in-One integrated solar street light that combines all components, including solar energy panel, energy storage battery, and LED light, into a unified body, facilitating easy transportation, quick installation, and cost savings in construction.

• The lights use San’an 3030 LED chips, with a higher efficiency of over 180lm/W. The LED lifespan is > 50,000 hours, with durability equivalent to 12 years.
• The Lithium LiFePO4 energy storage battery has a large capacity of 146Wh and a lifespan of up to 8 years. The integrated battery box is removable, making maintenance easy.

• Mono solar panel 5V/23W, high efficiency, durability over 25 years.
• Intelligent controller enables the light to turn on in the dark and off in the light. It monitors activity and extends the lifespan of the light.
• IP65, IK08 protection level ensures the light works well in high-temperature environments, prolonged rain, and dusty conditions, with good impact resistance.
• The light comes with a remote control, allowing brightness and lighting time adjustments.
• The light’s lens is designed in a batwing style, providing a wide light angle (150° x 75°) and even light distribution.

Meeting the criteria for new rural areas, expanding the smart lighting model
The success of the project not only allows people in the 03 communes to experience the practical efficiency of solar lights, saving electricity costs, being independent of the grid, and saving up to 30% of installation costs, but it is also an important factor in helping Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lap, and Quynh Loc communes achieve new rural standards early. This is also a lighting model that the Quynh Luu district government desires to replicate and further develop in the future, receiving support from the local residents.

In the coming time, DAT Solar and its network of partners nationwide will continue to implement more solar lighting projects, illuminating inter-communal roads, and contributing to the construction of an advanced new rural area in the 2021-2025 period.
