DAT Group sponsors solar-powered streetlights in Phu An village, Duc Trong district

Following the success of the streetlight project in Bong Lai village in August 2022, well-received and supported by the local community for its practicality and effectiveness, DAT Group continues its sponsorship by providing an additional 20 sets of solar-powered streetlights in Phu An village, Duc Trong.

This is another meaningful green project undertaken by DAT Group in collaboration with Duc Trong district, spreading the model of intelligent solar lighting. It facilitates convenient and safer movement for the local residents on poorly lit roads that lack a formal lighting system, facing difficulties in installation and power grid connection.

In this regard, DAT Group has consulted, designed, and sponsored 20 sets of Sokoyo solar streetlights, Solo 15W series, illuminating the road through Phu An village, Phu Hoi commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. The project officially commenced in May 2023, with the local community actively participating, coordinating to ensure timely completion for handover to the residents and local authorities.

As a representative from Phu An village who has been involved in the project since its inception, Mr. Thanh Tuan Nguyen shares, “I and the people in the village are very happy and excited to see the daily dark road now brightly lit with modern solar-powered lights. The residents are surprised at the effectiveness of the lighting, curious about how it operates, and are becoming more interested in solar energy. People are now more reassured when traveling on this road at night, especially in dangerous turns and obscured visibility. Indeed, the solar-powered lighting system has significantly improved the quality of life for the local population.”
