DAT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Corporation
On August 27, 2020, DAT Group officially signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Corporation to accelerate the deployment of rooftop solar solutions for households and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.
The solar energy market in Ho Chi Minh City is a lucrative area attracting significant attention from solar investors. As one of the economic hubs with high population density and rapid development, the electricity demand from households, commercial, and industrial sectors is higher compared to other cities. Investing in rooftop solar in Ho Chi Minh City will contribute to the development of the renewable energy sector, ensuring national energy security. Additionally, Government Decision 13 on the mechanism to encourage solar development, along with support and favorable conditions provided by the Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN), have created more accessible opportunities for solar investments.
To deliver high-quality solar solutions that are energy-efficient and cost-effective for residents and businesses, DAT and Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Corporation have entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership. Under the strategic agreement, DAT will supply comprehensive equipment and ensure a genuine warranty policy for its products. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Corporation will offer end-to-end solutions, including surveying, designing, deploying solar systems, providing operational and maintenance services, and accompanying customers throughout the project lifecycle.
With experience in supplying equipment and installing over 10,000 solar systems with a total capacity of nearly 800 MW nationwide, DAT will also conduct technical training and provide business solutions for the staff of Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Corporation. DAT’s solar experts will analyze and clarify technical requirements for surveys, design, material extraction, system installation, and operation. Additionally, DAT’s business team will share sales consulting skills, guide the use of specialized sales tools, and assist in reaching more target customers, closing deals, and project execution.
