DAT Solar successfully completed four solar projects for 4M Green Power

In November 2020. Each project has a capacity of over 900 kWp and has been highly praised for the quality of the system, achieving high performance and electricity output, meeting the initial expectations of the investor.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECTS

The four solar projects include:

  • Two projects with a capacity of 993 kWp on two different roofs at May Nha Be Corporation – Hau Giang.
  • A 998 kWp project at Vinatex textile factory – Kien Giang
  • A 999.7 kWp project at Vinatex textile factory – Bac Lieu

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Given the boom in the solar market in 2020, the Vietnamese Government and the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) have created the most favorable conditions for businesses and organizations to easily invest in, install, and use solar energy. In light of the tremendous potential and practical benefits of clean energy, 4M Green Power decided to implement multiple solar projects under the model of renting rooftop space for solar installations and selling the entire electricity generated to EVN.

After careful site selection, research, and partnering with a reputable EPC contractor capable of handling large-scale projects, 4M Green Power chose DAT Solar as the turnkey EPC contractor for these four significant projects in Hau Giang, Kien Giang, and Bac Lieu.

Deploying four projects with capacities exceeding 900 kWp each in a short period, at various locations, is a challenging task that demands an EPC contractor with comprehensive equipment capabilities and substantial deployment resources. Therefore, DAT Solar meticulously planned and allocated the best resources for each project, ensuring an adequate supply of equipment and a highly skilled workforce for system design, construction supervision, and long-term O&M services.

EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS

To optimize efficiency and costs, DAT Solar provided suitable consultancy and solutions, conducted site surveys, assessed roof structures, and created feasible design drawings.

All design drawings, including those for the aluminum rail system, solar panel installation, and panel-to-inverter connections, were meticulously executed by DAT Solar’s team of solar energy experts and engineers. This ensured that the preparation of equipment and construction materials, based on the accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), was complete and precise.

DAT Solar used high-quality products for the projects, including Canadian Solar panels, which belong to Tier 1 and are top-rated for quality and performance per cost. The SMA and Sungrow grid-tied inverters integrated advanced technologies, achieving over 98% efficiency, contributing to high system performance, stable operation, and significant cost savings.

Throughout the project implementation, construction tasks such as installing operation platforms, roof waterproofing, aluminum rail installation, panel installation, inverter connections, etc., were completed according to technical requirements, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion of all project components.

PROJECT SUCCESS

In November 2020, all four solar projects in Hau Giang, Kien Giang, and Bac Lieu were officially completed, meeting 100% of the set schedule, quickly passing EVN’s inspections to connect to the national power grid. These projects completely met the expectations of the 4M Green Power investor, satisfying criteria for quality, operational efficiency, stable operation, and optimal electricity output.
