With long-term strategic plans for solar energy in the future, after the success of the 2.7MWp project at Nhat Tin Logistics, SCTI continues to invest in installing more solar power systems in geographically and radiantly favorable areas. After careful consideration and site selection, SCTI decided to invest in a 1MWp system at the Dai Loc Shoe Factory in Rach Bap Industrial Park, Binh Duong, Vietnam. Additionally, SCTI once again chose DAT Solar as the EPC contractor for this project.

Regarding the Dai Loc Shoe Factory, it specializes in manufacturing athletic shoes for export to renowned global brands, emphasizing technological advancements and professionalizing the production line. Simultaneously, the factory is committed to using clean energy, minimizing electricity consumption costs, and contributing to environmental protection. Therefore, the Dai Loc Shoe Factory decided to participate in the smart solar power solution, collaborating with SCTI and Yoshida Kaiun Group. It utilized the idle factory roof to install the solar power system “free of charge”, enjoying practical benefits from solar energy.

To ensure high performance and output for the solar energy project, SCTI aims to use top-quality equipment manufactured by reputable global corporations, meeting long-term efficiency standards and ensuring stable operation throughout the project’s lifecycle. The solar panels must belong to the Tier 1 category, integrating multiple new technologies for optimal power efficiency. The grid-tied inverter must have a conversion efficiency of over 98%, ensuring safety, easy installation, and remote monitoring capabilities.

Furthermore, the EPC contractor must be meticulous in every stage, from site surveying, assessing roof structure, detailed design drawings, material take-offs, etc., helping to minimize costs and complete the project according to the schedule and deployment plan.

Meanwhile, Dai Loc Shoe Factory places a strong emphasis on safety, precision in construction work, and high aesthetic standards for the project. The construction team is required to adhere to occupational safety principles, erect barriers around the electrical project site, avoid damaging the structure of the factory roof, implement multi-layered waterproofing for the workshop roof, and ensure no disruption to the factory’s production activities throughout the system installation process.

After consulting, designing, and proposing suitable solutions for the project, DAT Solar’s team of solar energy experts and engineers chose to use the Canadian Solar panel – Sungrow grid-tied inverter super conversion duo. This combination integrates numerous superior technologies, ensuring the system’s stable operation, high efficiency, and meeting the national grid-tied standards.

Additionally, DAT Solar’s capacity to rapidly supply equipment with goods readily available in stock allowed them to proactively meet the investor’s requirements, avoiding equipment shortages and maintaining the correct schedule.

Throughout the implementation process, all construction stages were ensured to be safe and meticulous in every operation, such as construction site fencing, installation of work platforms, roof waterproofing, aluminum rail installation, panel installation, cable tray installation, connection of junction boxes, DB, inverters, etc. DAT Solar’s engineering team closely monitored and urged the construction unit to complete the project on schedule, adhering to the specified technical standards.

Upon completion and commencement of operation, the 1MWp solar power system at the Dai Loc Shoe Factory continues to meet the investor SCTI’s expectations for efficiency, satisfying quality criteria, achieving high performance and output, bringing significant benefits to both the investor and the beneficiary.
